Terms & Conditions – The Notorious Shropshire

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with The Notorious Shropshire. By confirming a booking, you agree to the following terms.

1. Definitions

• “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to The Notorious Shropshire

• “You”, “The Hirer”, “Client” refers to the person or organisation making the booking

• “Equipment” refers to all hired items including 360 photo booths, magic mirrors, lighting, backdrops, and special effects

2. Booking & Payment

• A booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been paid

• The remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of the event (as agreed)

• Failure to pay may result in cancellation of your booking

• All prices are subject to availability and may change until confirmed

3. Cancellation Policy

• Deposits are non-refundable

• Cancellations made:

  • More than 14 days before the event – no further charges

  • Less than 14 days before the event – full balance may still be payable

• We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather, equipment failure). In such cases, a full refund will be provided

4. Setup & Access Requirements

• Adequate space must be provided for safe setup and operation

• Access to a standard 240v power supply is required

• Setup and collection times will be agreed in advance

• Delays caused by lack of access may reduce hire time without refund

5. Hire Duration

• Hire time begins from the agreed start time, not from when guests begin using the equipment

• Additional time may be requested but is subject to availability and additional charges

6. Supervision & Use

• All equipment must be used safely and as intended

• We reserve the right to stop the service if:

  • Guests are behaving in a dangerous or abusive manner

  • Equipment is at risk of damage

• No refund will be given in these circumstances

7. Damage & Liability

• You (the hirer) are responsible for any loss or damage to equipment caused by:

  • Misuse

  • Negligence

  • Guests at your event

• Any damage may be charged at full repair or replacement cost

8. Weather Policy (Outdoor Events)

• For outdoor bookings, suitable cover must be provided (e.g. marquee or indoor backup)

• We reserve the right to refuse setup if conditions are unsafe (rain, wind, etc.)

• No liability will be accepted for weather-related issues beyond our control

9. Insurance & Safety

• We hold appropriate public liability insurance

• All equipment is maintained and tested for safety

• Risk assessments can be provided upon request

---

10. Photos, Videos & Marketing

• We may capture photos or videos during your event for promotional purposes

• If you do not wish for content to be used, you must inform us in writing prior to the event

11. Data Protection

• We handle all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

• Your details will only be used for booking and communication purposes

---

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

• Severe weather

• Power failures

• Venue restrictions

• Government restrictions

13. Limitation of Liability

• We are not responsible for:

  • Loss of personal belongings

  • Injury caused by misuse of equipment

• Our liability is limited to the total booking value

14. Agreement

By paying a deposit or confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
